Center for Academia Development goals are defined as following:
1. Develop academic performance-based standards and instruments for gathering data necessary to assess the academic performance and sustain its improvement at the university.

2. Diagnose faculty training needs to reinforce the quality of teaching in order to facilitate students' aptitude to learn and assure learning outcomes; and design professional development programs to meet those needs.

3. Assist in programs of study development at different colleges, and recommend teaching strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity of the educational process.

4. Conduct research on educational policy and planning, educational leadership and economics of education in order to advance educational innovations at the university.

5. Propose consultancy, develop and implement projects that contribute to performance-based targets at the university, and track the effectiveness of the projects based on a solid base of the educational research.

6. Cooperate with analogous centers to share experience and support academia.
